What many don’t realize is many of these ideas are usually created by British, American, Swedish etc companies etc. However it’s cheaper to build these designs in places like China and Japan where many of it’s workers, will work many long hours for little money.

  6. KakashiOwnage says:

However, the practical benefits of the unicycling robot still remain unclear….haha!

In some ways your right, American Ingenuity/Innovation has gone down the toliet, we were at our peak with Innovation during the Apollo program, but Vietnam, Gulf War, Afghanistan, and just all around laziness has brought us down, Japan is fortunate, and very intelligent due to them having strict education standards, and they ain’t in any wars right now. American Innovation, come back from the grave!!

  8. dinmagic says:

uh, I’ll rather have Miku as a cartoon.

  9. laurens890 says:

Japanese have the intelligence to make it, the Americans have the intelligence to consume it.

I love that Japan is all about “Can we build it?” and not so much “Should we even bother building it?” I do like that balancing unicycle robot though.

the reason jappanese are so good at this kinda stuff is their work ethic. the kids go to school from 08:00 to 05:00 and then they have turtor classes till 11:00. they just work harder than we do.

  25. rpglover101 says:

@SammyTinXD They’re showing off the robotic technology, which they have called Mimi. Mimi can be used, when dressed up in various cosplays or outfits, to replicate ANY character, or even make new ones, but they would still be called Mimi. And they don’t have to use Miku’s voice, they could use Luka, or any of the other Vocaloids. And they can, because Yamaha corporation owns the Vocaloid line, as well as Mimi.
